Bon Secours Hospice Richmond. We are the only nonprofit hospice in Richmond and serve patients in a 50 mile radius of downtown Richmond. Through a program called We Honor Veterans we are seeking volunteers who are veterans of the armed services. These volunteers will help us give companionship and respite for our veterans. You do not have to decide to volunteer until after you take our training class. We keep you close to home and ask you to give us 2 to 4 hours a week when you have a patient. We especially need veterans who are willing to be a hospice volunteer for another veteran through our We Honor Vets Program. Also need pet therapy volunteers and people to provide music to patients.
To register: Ellen_Manning@bshsi.org or 264-7387.
