Set Up
Assist in the overall set-up of tables, chairs, signage and other equipment and supplies. This is a very fast-paced and hands-on position. Great for individual volunteers and large groups!
Parking/Traffic
Will help provide direction to vehicles arriving/parking, assist in maintaining vehicular and pedestrian traffic flow.
Luggage Team
This team manages the collection and distribution of all participant luggage throughout the event. Team will load all luggage into trucks Saturday morning, then off-load in the assigned area of the overnight camp or finish line. Assists participants in locating their luggage. Great opportunity for a large group.
Bike Loading/Unloading
Load bikes into the gated tennis courts as riders arrive at the finish line, and welcome and congratulate the cyclists as they arrive.
Completer Bag & T-shirt Distribution
Distribute cyclists completer bags and T-shirts. Assist with fund raising jersey booth.
Massage Registration
Works closely with the massage staff vendor to greet riders and schedule massages. Volunteers will be required to handle cash for this position.
Celebration Squad
Congratulate riders as they cross the finish line. We welcome enthusiastic volunteers willing to cheer and make some noise!
Party Tent
Greet guests, assist with beverage distribution, and ticket sales in the party tent. Volunteers will also assist with clean up.
Clean UpAssist with clean up at the finish line and party tent location. Will include breakdown of tables/chairs, signage, etc. This position is also responsible for monitoring and emptying of trash containers throughout the sites.

Description
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society funds more MS research, offers more services to people with MS, provides more professional education programs and advances more MS advocacy efforts than any other MS organization in the world. Through its home office and fifty-state network of chapters, the National MS Society provides assistance to over a million people annually in its continuing mission to end the devastating effects of multiple sclerosis.
Seeking out and engaging volunteers to the MS cause is at the very core of our business. Each year the Society organizes a series of community events that provide many opportunities for the enthusiastic volunteer. The Society offers three key fundraising activities: The MS Bike Tour, MS Walk and MS Challenge Walk. The Society also engages volunteers to help influence law-makers at the federal, state and municipal levels toward legislation important to people with MS. The Society is looking for passionate volunteers with expertise in areas such as: marketing communications, public relations, corporate and donor development, medical, legal, administrative and organizational expertise.
