San Diego Center for Children is looking for someone skilled in crochet that can help teach the children in our residential program the art of crochet. We provide a residential program for children who struggle with behavioral health. One of the ways the children find healing is through recreational activities. If you would like to bring your skill of crochet to hurting children, we would love to have you.
If you are interested, the opportunity would be on Sundays and the times are flexible based off your schedule.

Tha San Diego Center for Children is the region’s oldest non-profit serving children and families.
Since 1887, we have been San Diego’s trusted resource for children and families to find hope and healing.
Today, in eight locations and hundreds of homes across San Diego County, the Center provides therapeutic care, specialized education and critical life skills - touching the lives of more than 1,000 children and families every day.
The San Diego Center for Children provides a full Continuum of Behavioral Healthcare that children and families can access for a variety of needs. Our goal is to empower and inspire the child - and the family - to their full potential of health and wellbeing.
Our programs are delivered 24/7, 365 days a year on our campuses, in schools, at home and within the community - as it best serves the family. Our focus is on educating and training the child and family so they have the skills and knowledge to maintain their ongoing health and quality of life.
The Center is fully accredited by The Joint Commission, meeting the national healthcare standards for safety, quality of care and superior level of treatment. The organization is a member of the California Alliance of Child and Family Services. Additionally, our Academy is also accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC.)
