Internship/Volunteer Positions:
Intrepid USA Healthcare Services is looking for volunteers to assist with hospice services in our service area which includes Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Chesapeake, and the Eastern Shor. This would be an unpaid opportunity but could be of interest especially for students in the Allied and Mental Health disciplines who desire a rich volunteer experience that will prepare them for clinical settings and allow them to acquire some essential transferable skills. Intrepid is looking to train volunteers that would provide companionship for clients as well as help with administrative duties in the office and special projects. Work can be tailored to the volunteer’s interest and hours are flexible. There will be a background check and eight hour orientation for each volunteer. For more information, please call or email.
