You’re so good with children, people mistake you for the Greek goddess Demeter; you enjoy talking so much and with a variety of people that you are often mistaken for Oprah...or Kelly Rippa. You’re passionate about advancing the opportunities for girls in West Virginia, and fearlessly embrace getting to meet new people (ok, so maybe not fearlessly...but semi-comfortably?). You’re interested in hosting a vibrant color bash, stylish masquerade, or discussing all the places girls can go with a Dr. Seuss celebration. Or maybe you prefer a low-key, one-on-one discussion with parents and visiting classrooms to elaborate on the Girl Scout experience? Whatever your engagement style, we certainly need you as a Brand Champion for the Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Council to create excitement by relaying the message of Girl Scouting and the benefits of being involved with our organization.
Please contact Erin May at (681) 209.5194 or erin.may@bdgsc.org.

Mission Statement
Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place.
Description
Founded in 1912, Girl Scouts of the USA is the preeminent organization for girls with a current membership of 3.6 million girls and adults. Volunteers use their expertise, skills, interests, and life experience to shape fun and enriching leadership experiences for girls, and inspire them to reach their personal best. Volunteers help council staff facilitate the New Girl Scout Leadership Experience to girls through exciting program opportunities: leadership/self-esteem, financial literacy, travel, health/wellness, science, technology, engineering, and math. Volunteers choose from several flexible Pathways (the ways that girls and adults join Girl Scouting) that fit their lifestyles, including short-term or long-term service working either directly or indirectly with girls, and they can participate regionally, nationally, and internationally.
