MCEA offers a Client Choice Food Pantry, which allows clients to receive food, according to their specific dietary and nutritional needs. Volunteers will assist and greet 'MCEA Clients' in a friendly manner, assist them in locating food items, stocking shelves and overall appearance of our food pantry store.

To aid residents of Montgomery County who require temporary financial assistance to regain self-sufficiency.
Description
Montgomery County Emergency Assistance (MCEA) is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization established in 1981 to serve residents in Montgomery County who are experiencing an unexpected financial crisis or need. Our mission is to provide emergency financial assistance to families and individuals to help stabilize situations that threaten their health and well-being. Additionally, we provide ongoing intervention to transition a diverse client base to self-sufficiency and independence.
MCEA has offices located in Conroe, The Woodlands, Magnolia, and New Caney. We offer assistance with basic living expenses such as rent and utilities, childcare expenses, prescriptions, food and clothing, and unusual needs that may arise.
