Arizonans for Children offers classes in Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Interpretive, Hip-Hop, Salsa, Meringue, Bachata and Break Dancing. Children from group homes and foster placements are invited to attend the same course each week. The children develop an understanding of the cultural origin and proper techniques rooted in each style of dance. Dance instructors tailor the instruction to the developmental stage of each group. The therapeutic classes promote confidence and raise self-esteem.
We are looking for assistants to support our instructors and instructors. If you are energetic, enjoy working with kids and are passionate about the arts please contact us!

T o facilitate opportunities that provide effective solutions to alleviate hardships and improve the fragile lives of the abused, abandoned, neglected children in foster care.
Description
Arizonans for Children has three visitation centers, located in Phoenix, Mesa and Peoria. The centers offer safe and inviting rooms for supervised visitations to take place. Children that are in the foster care system in Maricopa County meet with their biological siblings, relatives and parents. The comfortable and neutral environment AFC provides is the catalyst for the reunification of these families. Volunteers will facilitate the orchestration of visits at one of the three visitation centers. These visits may be the last memories the children have with their families and we strive to ensure they are fond ones!
Additionally, Arizonans for Children offers education programs to support foster children. The education programs offered include Tutor/Menor, Justice League, Financial Literacy/Aging Out, Dance, Cooking, Sewing, Craft and Lifebook.
