For many people, money and finanical issues can be confusing. Lower Columbia CAP's Financial Independence Center is seeking volunteers to present "Money Smart" - a series of classes designed to give people the necessary tools for financial success.
As a financial instructor, you would present information on topics such as
- Opening a bank account
- Balancing a check book
- Saving vs. Debt
- Credit vs. Debit
- Buying a home
- Avoiding Fraud
Training is available for interested people. No teaching experience necessary.

RSVP (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) engages people 55 and older in volunteer service to meet critical community needs by providing high quality experiences that will enrich the lives of volunteers and those they serve.
RSVP volunteers in Cowlitz-Wahkiakum are sharing their skills and experience in a variety of ways including: tutoring children, feeding the hungry, providing healthcare information, serving meals to seniors, and much more.
RSVP Volunteers have a lifetime of experience to share- join us in improving our community!
