Collaborate with local nonprofit organizations and school members, to provide shared programs and exposure, located in Pleasant Hill. Enlist key community leaders and organizations that have a similar mission.to develop fundamental linkages and can provide financial support. Write and present grants or request funding. Use technology and resources to develop, organize and deliver educational programs, information, and community exchange. Help conduct 2 workshops and/or tour programs annually with an average of 25-75 participants during Earth Day, Open House or similar events. Provide training in appropriate and sustainable gardening practices to volunteers at garden work parties and community service events. Meet quarterly with other board members to setup and monitor projects and programs that meet their goals and purposes. Contribute ideas that they may not yet have thought of.
