Participate as a volunteer at our annual Share Walk for Remembrance and Hope on October 18, 2014 at Creve Coeur Lake.

Our event serves as a memorial event for families who have experienced the loss of a child through miscarriage, still birth or within the first year of life. There is a balloon release, a children’s memory making station, ceremony and a three mile walk around the lake.

Volunteers are need for event set up, event preparation, help with balloon blow up, helping with arts and crafts at Creation Station, balloon distribution and more.

Want to help but can't make it on 10/18/14? No worries, we can use help leading up to the event as well!!

Mission Statement

The mission of Share Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support, Inc. is to serve those whose lives are touched by the tragic death of a baby through pregnancy loss, stillbirth or in the first few months of life.

The primary purpose is to provide support toward positive resolution of grief experienced at the time of, or following the death of a baby. This support encompasses emotional, physical, spiritual, and social healing, as well as sustaining the family unit.

The secondary purpose of Share is to provide information, education, and resources on the needs and rights of bereaved parents and siblings. The objective is to aid those in the community, including family, friends, employers, members of the congregation, caregivers, and others in their supportive role.

Description

Share is dedicated to supporting parents and families throughout the US as well as internationally. Most of the states as well as Canada and England have local offices to provide support. All information packets, correspondence, and support are free of charge for bereaved parents.
