Enjoy world-class classical music in your volunteer role of hosting mature adults participating in the Road Scholar program during the UO Oregon Bach Festival. As a Community Host, you will travel with the group to and from OBF and Road Scholar events and presentations. Community Host volunteers need to be able to answer questions and provide assistance to the Road Scholars as needed. Volunteers must:
- Have exceptional people-person skills
- Be organized and timely
- Enjoy working with mature adults
- Be knowledge of local culture and community a plus
- Be able and willing to walk long distances
- Be able to lift up to 15 lbs.
Half and full day opportunities available as well as evenings.
