Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. a 501c(3) non profit needs volunteer office help for 10 to 15 hours per week in our East Taunton, MA location Monday-Friday flexible hours 8am-5pm We are dedicated to providing bullet/stab proof vests for our working dogs throughout the United States. Office tasks include compile, copy, sort, data entry (Microsoft office exel and word), and file records of office activities, business transactions, and other activities associated with our fund raising events. Join our non-profit VIK9s and become part of a great organization helping protect our vital four legged canine police heroes. A VOLUNTEER APPLICATION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL POSITIONS and must be completed prior to consideration.
Flexible hours are Monday through Friday 8am-5pm for this position in our East Taunton, MA office. Evenings and weekends are not available. We are seeking reliable candidates with transportation.

Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. is a 501c(3) non-profit whose mission is to provide bullet and stab protective vests and other assistance to dogs of Law Enforcement and related agencies throughout the country.
Description
Since 2009, our organization has donated:
- More than 4,481 K9 ballistic vests
- 1,800 K9 opioid reversal NARCAN Kits
- More than $218,000 of K9 medical insurance premiums through our Healthcare for K9 Heroes program
- Over $93,000 in K9 medical first aid kits
- Three Chevy Tahoe patrol vehicles custom fitted for a K9 Unit valued at over $50,000 each
- One Advanced Canine Medical Trainer (K9 Diesel) a full-body state-of-the-art skills trainer for canine first responders that simulates active breathing, audio queues and over 28 different features and medical intervention sites at $62,000
All of our programs are made possible with funds raised through contributions, grants and fundraising events.
