Kids in a New Groove seeks volunteer music educators to teach music lessons to youth in foster care. KING provides private music lessons exclusively to youth in care throughout Texas. Our music mentors help these kids build life skills, earn their own instruments, and empowers these valuable kids to succeed in music, and in life. All instrument types (including voice) needed!

Mission Statement
Kids in a New Groove provides private one-on-one music instruction to kids in foster care throughout Texas. KING builds a solid foundation for foster youth through music mentorship, so that youth can age out of care with tools for success. Once enrolled, students can earn their own brand new instrument, in addition to performing in recitals and shows.
