When you volunteer with the Y, you make a meaningful, enduring impact right in your own community. Northeast Family YMCA board members are our strongest advocates with a willingness to be informed and enthusiastic about the Y and demonstrate a strong desire to strengthen the foundation of our Greater Louisville community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Members of the board are elected to serve up to two consecutive three year terms, with the new year beginning each August. Newly elected members of the board join a unique group of dedicated, hard working, community minded and kind hearted volunteers!
