Volunteers of America Texas is in search of a passionate and energetic leader to organize game nights for our clients at Dartmouth, a group home for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities
The Game Activity Coordinator will help facilitate a fun group activity/game for the residents of the facility. They will be responsible for set up, such a laying the games out; sharing instructions for the games, helping with any questions and cleanup. This is an opportunity to hold a fun, social activity for the residents. It allows them to socialize with other residents in the home while also being mentally stimulated by the game/activity.
Volunteers with previous experience with leading game groups, knowledge and access to a variety of games, and desire to work with disabled adults are welcome to apply.
If you are interested, please contact Volunteer Services at volunteer@voatx.org.
