Retired teachers are needed to teach museum lessons and give tours. This is a fun way to share your knowledge and experience in a relaxed setting as a museum docent. No classroom management. No bureaucratic paperwork. Enjoy your love of teaching in its purest form.
Volunteer when YOU want to. Schedules are flexible to meet your lifestyle. Many scheduling choices.
Free training and orientation provided beginning on Thursday, March 2, 2017 in the morning from 8:45am - noon. Training then continues for five Monday mornings. Generous benefits include guest passes, gift shop and cafe discounts. Parking is free and plentiful.
Meet interesting people. Work with great museum staff and share your knowedge with students in an informal setting.
