ReadWest is currently seeking individuals for our Board of Directors. Previous board, fundraising, financial management, or leadership experience is a plus, but not required. Now, more than ever, adults who struggle to read need our services. Join our Board to help us empower adults to live better lives! Please contact Morgan O'Donnell at morgan.odonnell@readwest.org with any questions or to begin the interview process of providing a resumé, a completed application, and meeting with the Board Development Committee. Currently, the board meets virtually in order to ensure a COVID-safe environment.
ReadWest is currently seeking someone to fill the position of Secretary in addition to general board members.

ReadWest's mission is to provide quality one-to-one tutoring to adults seeking to transform their lives through enhanced literacy skills.
Description
ReadWest has been helping adults learn to read, write, and speak English for over 30 years. Trained volunteers meet with an adult learner once a week for two hours. We help improve the reading and writing levels of English speakers. We also help English Language Learners acquire survival English and workplace vocabulary. NO teaching experience needed. We have an all English approach, so NO foreign language experience is required.
