Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. a 501c(3) non profit whose mission is to provide bullet and stab protective vest for K9s nationwide is seeking the assistance of dog lovers to volunteer with booth setup and breakdown and product sales on September 21 at the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office in Ballston Spa, NY. This event is open to the public and will feature a K9 demonstration at 1pm, a pet costume contest, and a canine agility demonstration. Special guests include: David Louis, animal communicator; Hudson, "The Railroad Puppy" and renown caricature artist, Rich Conley. The MacBoston 18 Truck-Fallen Firefighter Memorial will be on display. There will be face painting, balloon twisting, vendors, raffles, food, a blessing of the animals, photo booth, kids’ activity tent and much more for the whole family to enjoy.
Proceeds from this event will be used to provide bullet and stab protect vests for the Saratoga County Sheriff's Department in NY

Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. is a 501c(3) non-profit whose mission is to provide bullet and stab protective vests and other assistance to dogs of Law Enforcement and related agencies throughout the country.
Description
Since 2009, our organization has donated:
- More than 4,481 K9 ballistic vests
- 1,800 K9 opioid reversal NARCAN Kits
- More than $218,000 of K9 medical insurance premiums through our Healthcare for K9 Heroes program
- Over $93,000 in K9 medical first aid kits
- Three Chevy Tahoe patrol vehicles custom fitted for a K9 Unit valued at over $50,000 each
- One Advanced Canine Medical Trainer (K9 Diesel) a full-body state-of-the-art skills trainer for canine first responders that simulates active breathing, audio queues and over 28 different features and medical intervention sites at $62,000
All of our programs are made possible with funds raised through contributions, grants and fundraising events.
