Do you have a passion for helping those who have lost a loved one? Great Lakes Caring provides support to our patients' families even after the end of life. For a period of thirteen months, we continue to be available to the caregivers and other loved ones of the deceased patients. Being a family oriented organization, we take just as much care with the mental and emotional impact a loved one's passing creates on the family and friends left behind. Great Lakes Caring is looking for a Bereavement Volunteer to assist our Bereavement Coordinator a few times a month. As a volunteer, you would make calls to family members, help with periodic mailings, and assist the Bereavement Coordinator in any other office work. Hours are flexible, and volunteers must at least sixteen years of age.
