We are a Massachusetts-based non-profit Organization that works with organizations and individuals in United States and around the world to support local leaders and charities in Africa to build effective and sustainable programs in areas of education, health care, nutrition and food security, and economic empowerment to promote interests of marginalized groups - orphans, vulnerable children, women and the youth. Face of Hope International exists to build sustainable programs that advance education, healthcare and economic empowerment to transform the lives of underprivileged children & families around the world

The ideal candidate should for this position should be creative and appreciate the value of volunteerism as a means creating social change - transforming communities through giving a hand to the neediest in our communities in areas of education, health services, micro-economic empowerment for youth and women, nutrition and elderly services.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Responsibilities will range from managing social media accounts (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram), composing blog posts, and networking with other bloggers in the field of FHI’s interests.
• Compose, smart, strategic social media campaigns, tweets, creative hashtags, etc. for all of our organization's social media platforms
• Blogging
• Compose a social media plan and calendar
• Have creative freedom to execute your vision under the supervision of founder.
• Keep up to date on all social media platforms

The applicant should have:

• Interest in working with nonprofits that are committed to social change, especially for underserved communities
• Strong professional communication skills
• Warm, enthusiastic personality
• Knowledge of social media platforms and how they operate
• Detail orientated with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks
• Pro-active
• Prior experience in blogging and other social media programs is a plus

Requirements:

• 12-week minimum
• 10-15 hours per week
• Advanced and strong computer skills
• Social Media/ networking experience and interest
• Be a creative writer that captures your audience.
