Avalon Hospice provides end of life care and support to patients and families. The goal of hospice care is to focus on comfort and quality of life. Volunteers work with the hospice team to provide additional support and companionship for patients. Bedside music can provide a sense of peacefulness and comfort for hospice patients and enhance their quality of life. Description
Avalon Hospice is comprised of a team of doctors, nurses, aids, social workers, chaplains, and volunteers. Our approach to hospice care considers the wide range of needs patients and families experience when facing a terminal illness. Avalon's collaborative team approach ensures patients' and their families' specific needs are targeted and addressed quickly and with great compassion.
