The Effie Yeaw Nature Center is hosting its 13th annual outdoor Art Gala & Live Auction on Sunday, June 5th. We are looking for volunteers to help prepare for the event set up that week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) and day of event tasks Sunday, June 5th; morning event shifts are from 11am to 1pm, afternoon shifts vary in length from 12 to 4:00pm, and evening roles start from 4:00 until 9:00pm.

Volunteers should be able to be on their feet, walk on uneven surfaces, work well with other volunteers and our guests, be ready to have a good time, and to be flexible in assignments.

Volunteers may sign up for the morning shift to help carry tables, chairs, and help with signage.

Volunteers may sign up for the afternoon shift, helping to hang art and in other last minute preparation.

Volunteers may sign up for the evening shift--and there are multiple tasks to choose from such as assisting with guest registration, processing donations, live auction recorders, carrying art about from one location to another, escorting guests to their tables, and of course, clean-up at the end of the evening.

Business casual and comfy shoes are required for volunteering during the event in the evening.
