Greet and guide guests who cme to see artists working in their studios.
What: Greeters of all ages welcome, teens can earn community service hours and adults can have a chance to meet their local artists. Volunteers will staff the front gallery. There will be music and snacks!
About the event: First Thursdays is an opportunity for the community to enter the studios of The Umbrella’s resident artists. Each artist has their own process and their studios reflect this, by walking through our building on Thursday night you’ll get a chance to see many of these individual processes. There will be snacks, drinks, and even some music throughout the building. It is a free, casual, atmosphere where you can really get to know the fabulous artists in your community.
First Thrusdays: October 2 or November 6 or December 4
