75% of homeless high school students have dropped out or will drop out of school. SAMMinistries is trying to prevent this by providing both group and individual tutoring at the TLLC. Subjects may include algebra, U.S. history, physics, biology, Spanish, and English. SAMMinistries staff can provide subject-specific worksheets and training on the best tutoring methods.

Mission Statement
SAMMinistries is an interfaith ministry whose mission is to help the homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless attain self-sufficiency by offering, with dignity and compassion, shelter, housing, and services. SAMMinistries also provides volunteers opportunities to be renewed and fulfilled as they serve.
Description
SAMMinistries provides an array of programs and services available to the homeless of San Antonio. Programs offered to guests include life skills, job training, financial management, computer skills, parenting classes and more. Our guests have access to medical and dental facilities and each program is designed to provide our guests with the basic tools necessary to return to the path of self-sufficiency.
