Mentoring guarantees a young person that there is someone who cares about them. It shows the youth that they are not alone in dealing with day-to-day challenges. In order to be a successful mentor, volunteers should have a sincere desire to be involved with a young person, be an active listener, and be flexible and open to finding new ways of connecting with teens. We are looking for volunteers for group and/or one-on-one mentoring. This volunteer opportunity requires a minimum of a 6 month commitment, but is extremely rewarding.
