The Goodskills Literacy Corps, an Adult Tutoring Program affiliated with Rappahannock Goodwill Industries, is in great need of Volunteers who are willing to help adults in the Fredericksburg, VA and Stafford, VA areas.

These adults need to learn how to read and write, skills that would greatly improve their lives. Some of our participants need help in Math and computer skills too, but we do not require any of our Volunteers to tutor someone in a subject they are not comfortable teaching.

We ask you, on behalf of the many people who have come to us to improve their lives, to ask yourself these questions: Am I ready to make a difference in someone's life? Am I ready to make this world a better place?

If you are able to read and write, are good at math, or are great with a computer, please come aboard with us! Your volunteerism would be extremely beneficial to the Fredericksburg and Stafford communities, and we promise, that we will accomodate you as a tutor in anyway we can.

There is no experience necessary for our program, only a willingness to teach. We provide training as well as any materials you may need, and we always make sure that our Volunteers are comfortable with the participants we place them with.
