In November 2015, new Volunteer Board Members will be appointed for a two year term. If you have prior experience dealing with nonprofits, please consider this opportunity.
We are seeking for professional individuals with Fundraising and/or Grant Writing experience. Must be willing to commit a minimum of 5 hours a week as a Board Member.
As you consider this opportunity, we ask for you to think of the commitment. We prefer individuals with Fundraising or Grant Writing experience.

Our mission is to Coach, Motivate, and Support South Florida high school college-bound students through mentoring services and scholarships, particularly English as a Second Language students.
Description
Founded in December of 2012 as a non-profit organization, Scholar Career Coaching (Scholar CC) provides college and career services to South Florida high school college-bound students in Title I high schools, with a focus on ESL (English as a Second Language) students. While our focus is on ESL, we welcome all interested high school students. Our immigrant students are from low-income minority families, many of whom will be the first generation to graduate high school and to attend college.
