Be a part of the 500,000 strong volutneers at least 55 years of age in the Senior Corps RSVP (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) that has been around since the 70s! YOU will be able to create a lasting impact in your community with the effects rippling out for generations to come.
This organization provides GED training & Adult Basic Education Services to people and organizations all over Tarrant County. So many people rely on what it is they do. In this role, you will be working in an office setting providing much needed office support with a focus on volunteer management & recruitment. If you are looking to answer the phones, reach out to current and prospective volunteers, and be involved with a small but passionate team then this job is for you!
You will need to be able bodied because this impactful but small organization has a step to get inside the building and it is a small but cozy office. You will have your own desk, office space, phone, and everything you need to be successful in this role!
This opportunity is available Monday-Thursday from 9a-5p. Ideally we would like someone able to serve a full work day or several half days. At the minimum is 4 hours per week.
