Open hearth Ministries of Puyallup is in need of volunteers!
Open hearth Ministries is in need of volunteers who are willing to meet with a homeless family while they are temporarily sheltered in a motel and give them resources and encouragement. This is a very controlled enviroment in which the family has already been screened and placed into the motel. The time commitment is 1-2 hours per family ( usually once or twice a month) and minor paperwork. This is a great opportunity to help with the homeless in a controlled and safe enviroment.

Open Hearth Ministries is a program in Puyallup/East Pierce County that supplies short term shelter to homeless families that meet the criteria. We are made up solely of volunteers. Our funds come from the city, private donors, and local churches.
