Nightingales Harvest is the first and only food and hygiene pantry for cancer patients, families and caregivers. One way we provide these items to our patients is by collecting items from the community members willing to recycle with us. We use these recyclables to make a variety of items to sell at all of our fundraisers. We are looking for: Any size jean pants, shorts, shirts, Sheets of all sizes, pillowcases, and dust ruffles Yarn, knitting needles and crochet hooks, Materia, buttons, l Metal hangers such as from a dry cleaner Any craft items such as plastic canvas, paint, sewing If you have any ideas we would be happy to hear them Please visit our website for more information. nightingales-harvest.org Items may be dropped off at Nightingales Harvest. We have outgrown our space and moved into Our Saviour Lutheran Church, 2820 Alexis Road, Toledo OH 43613 - across from Whitmer High School. Our Caring Hearts Boutique is held on Tuesday 7 pm at Our Saviour Church. I hope to see you there! We are in need of people who can sew for us! Donated handmade items are greatly appreciated! We enjoy getting unique, one-of-a- kind items. For example: crocheted or knitted hats, gloves and scarfs - all sizes and colors. Items made with Ohio State and Michigan colors are favorites. What do you enjoy making? I am sure our cancer families will love it!
