Looking for motivated and enthusiastic Washtenaw County high school students who wants to bring type 1 diabetes awareness to the community by joining the JDRF Youth Council. This group will help you develop great relationships with other students in Washtenaw County and truly make a difference in the community. Members will be responsible for the following:
- Passing out flyers in local businesses
- Provide awareness as your school
- Attend monthly meetings meetings
- Provide information about JDRF and the Walk at local city/county fairs
- Attend JDRF events and help promote the Youth Council.
The Youth Council also serves as a great way to satisfy community service hours for your school. If you are interested in joining the Youth Council and learning more about JDRF and the Walk, please complete the online JDRF Volunteer Form and select "Youth Council."
