Whisker City, a cat rescue shelter in Shoreline, Wa is looking for help planning quarterly events. Would you like to be part of our fundraising planning? We are looking for 4-6 individuals who are fun-loving doers to help with audience development, procurement, party planning and ticket sales. Seeking organized, reliable, action-oriented individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of rescued, neglected and abandoned cats. Flexible time commitment. Short and productive meetings. Modest amount of busywork. Help with organizing volunteer tasks and activities. Use your assets to help us put on successful events and help us save lives and find forever homes!
The events are: Auction, Concert, Art Show, Comedy Night. We will increase our events based on the interests and talents of the committee members.

Whisker City rescues and rehabilitates abused, neglected and abandoned felines and places them in loving homes.
Description
Whisker City is unique in that the organization focuses solely on the needs of the feline. 100% of the funds raised are used for care a nd shelter and finding forever homes. No money is used for education, lobbying or advertising.
All cats and kittens are provided health care and surgical alteration by Northgate Veterinary Clinic. They work in cooperation with the Feral Cat Spay Neuter project for alteration, vaccinations and FIV testing.
