Looking for adults who are 55 plus.
Help an at-risk child improve his/her reading, math, or science skills during and after school in Elementary Schools in Ashland, Natick, Wayland, and Framingham and After-School Programs in Framingham for children who need assistance with writing, math and science.
Volunteers must be available to meet with student (s) twice a week (could be once a week) for a school-year long commitment, and must have a desire to help children. Reading Tutors must attend a SOAR 55-sponsored training. Assignments can begin as late as February of the school year.
