Easter Seals has a volunteer opportunity that is ideal for a videographer who possesses a good sense of visual composition and verbal effectiveness. This commitment would translate into a minimum of three events per year for a minimum of 12 hours per year.

Video credits will be given to volunteer videographers. Upon request, a letter of reference may be supplied after successful completion of video assignments.

Requirements:

• Ability to video approved services delivered to clients; fundraising events, and other activities while adhering to the confidentiality policies of Easter Seals
• Provide and use your own digital video equipment
• Deliver professional quality videos that convey interesting stories
• Establish a process where no more than seven days elapse between the shoot and delivery of the edited video footage for event-related videos and no more than 30 days for most other footage.
• Post the approved footage on selected venues approved by supervisor. Videos may also be selected for posting on our website.

Qualifications

• Volunteers are not required to be professional videographers; however, volunteers should be able to demonstrate a high level of professionalism in their communication skills, inter-personal activity and dependability.
• Ability to carry out instructions/assignments independently

Physical requirements

• Active movement for three hours or more.
• Traveling to various locations; own transportation a plus
• Other volunteer tasks as assigned
