The Special Event Volunteer program is designed for individuals over the age of 14 who are looking to complete school community service requirements, fulfill corporate/employer volunteer requirements, or are interested in occasionally volunteering without a long-term commitment. These volunteers provide support at special events and fundraisers like Zoo Zoom, HalloWILD, Zoo Lights, and more. Special Event Volunteers lead crafts and games, provide customer service, set-up and take down for events, ensure visitor safety, direct vehicles for parking, and more.
This Program is a great opportunity for individuals to become a part of wildlife conservation and education in their community, meet new people, and share support of the zoo.
