Do you have a big heart and a little time to listen? Grace is the Place to Volunteer!
Come and join the Grace Hospice team. Men or women (even therapy dogs!), young or old, you can make a difference TODAY in the life of a hospice patient and their family. Volunteers spend time with a patient doing enjoyable activities - reading, talking, or maybe engaging in a hobby. Volunteers help family members take a break to rejuvenate, go shopping, or keep appointments. Volunteers are often the highlight of someone's day.

Description
Grace Hospice cares for patients whose medical conditions are not responding to treatment or for those patients who choose to not seek aggressive medical care at the end stage of life. Hospice focuses on comfort care rather than curative care. The goal of hospice is for patients to remain as comfortable and pain-free as possible in their own home or the home of a loved one through the end of life. Care can also be provided in a long-term care facility or an assisted living facility.
