Purpose:
Assist the In-Kind team with data management and the development of rules and tools. Coordinate closely with the IKD team members to develop communications about in-kind tools and processes in support of in-kind fundraising. Benefit the lines of service with budgeted in-kind items through assessment and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with determining budgeted needs of the lines of service
- Field inquiries via the IKD phone/email inbox
- Research and portfolio creation for donors and donor products/services
- Support in-kind team work related to the disaster operations coordination center
- Update in-kind information on central communication platforms and IKD system
- Create and support in-kind training (i.e. slide creation, etc)
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Customer Service Oriented
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and communications skills
- Experience using various web based systems and data entry
- Attention to detail or detail oriented
- Strong writing skills
Length of Appointment: May-August 15th
Time Commitment: M-Fri (5-8hours per day)

Description
The national headquarters of the American Red Cross provides assistance with shaping and leading the organization in our mission and strategic plan. National Headquarters also assists with technical guidance to the many Red Cross units, such as Chapters, Armed Forces Emergency Services Stations and Blood Services regions. These units are responsible for the direct service to the community including disaster response and preparedness, messaging to Armed Forces military and their families, collecting and delivering blood products, teaching health and safety skills and helping reunite families through our international services.
