The Adult Literacy GED tutor provides free, confidential, one-on-one tutoring to an adult in need of improving their basic literacy skills in preparation for the GED exam. Tutors may choose to tutor in the areas of reading/writing and/or math, or in any subject area as needed.
Tutors meet 1-2 times weekly with the adult learner for 1-2 hours per session to assist with basic skill-building. Tutoring may occur at any of the Placer County Library branches. Training and materials are provided free of charge.
