Volunteer with Provo Parks and help maintain the trails and parks that make Provo such a great place to live. You can volunteer anytime with groups of any size or even on an individual basis. Simply email the Provo Parks volunteer coordinator at jyoung@provo.org to get started. He will work with you to find a project to fit your group size and preferences and tools will be provided.

Description
Provo City has 50+ parks and trails that need volunteers to help maintain them. We partner with you in setting up project locations and times, as well as providing tools and any needed supervision.
Projects may include:
- Trail clearing and building
- Raking leaves and general clean-up at each park and at the cemetery
- Planting flowers and shrubs at some of Provo's parks
- Repair and painting park benches
- Cleaning out leaves and weeds from along fence lines and paths
- Painting restrooms and pavilions
- Removing weeds and non-native trees from various hillsides
- Tree planting (seasonal)
- Clearing out dead branches from the river
