Volunteers are needed to interact with residents in skilled nursing home:
Monday or Friday afternoons from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m.
- visit with or read to residents
Evenings between 6:30 and 8:00 p.m..
- Movie Night - watch a movie together and share popcorn
- Play Cards - 500 and Pinochle are favorites
- Read - anything from fiction to newspapers to scripture
- Needlework - knit or sew together
- Music Night - enjoy quiet, relaxing music together; sing old hymns; play an instrument; etc.
- Game Night - play checkers, Yahtzee, Cribbage, etc.
- Interactive Computer Programs - use our state of the art "It's Never Too Late" computer program to watch videos, travel the world via Google Earth, or play games on a 70" TV screen
- Just talk & listen - share your interests/hobbies (sports, travel, crafts, cooking, trains, gardening, etc.
