Volunteers are needed to help maintain the beautiful Black Hill Visitor Center Display Gardens. These include: a rain garden/hummingbird garden; a raised bed butterfly garden; a raised bed pollinator garden; a fern garden; a Monarch Waystation garden; a log garden; and garden areas around a small pond. Volunteers work as a group on Tuesday mornings from for a couple of hours, beginning May 5 and ending Oct 6. Gardening experience preferred, but not required. Training will be offered.

Description
Our agency is located just north of Washington D.C., and was originally created to protect the stream valleys around the D.C. area. We have grown into a 34,000 acre park system with over 400 local, urban and regional parks; recreation centers; ballfields; playgrounds; nature centers, a botanic garden and over 200 miles of trails.
