NEEDED: 75 event volunteers This is a great opportunity for corporate/college groups!
WHEN: Wednesday, July 2, 2014 from 7:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. We'll kick off around 9 a.m.!
WHAT: Volunteers will be involved in the following aspects of the Carnival:
- Grill Master and Lunch Prep - can you handle the heat?
- Carnival Games - you can be a carnie like you've always dreamed!
- Moon Bounce - obviously, the MOST fun position.....
- Face Painting - any ARTISTS out there?
- Cotton Candy Station - ok....maybe this beats the Moon Bounce....
- Popcorn Station - get it popping!
- Field Games - just like the good old days.....
- Basketball Shootout - how's your jumpman looking these days?
- Arts & Crafts Station(s) - still there ARTISTS?
- Gift Bag Distribution - "It's my favorite TTHHIIINNNGG!!!"
- Cleanup - everybody do your share :)
JOIN US on July 2nd in Prince William County, VA! Help us: give our kids a great carnival experience, showcase our "Send A Kid To Camp" campaign and thank our donors/sponsors who did send a kid to camp.Do it all while having just as much fun as our campers!

The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington is to help boys and girls of all backgrounds, with an emphasis on at-risk youth, building confidence, develop character, and acquire the needed skills to grow into productive, civic-minded responsible adults.

Description
Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington is one of the largest affliates of Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Our clubs are desgined to meet the needs of the communities we serve.
From public schools to public housing, our Club members are given opportunities to dream again. Our staff supported by the dedicated groups of volunteers, show the kids how to turn dreams into reality through planning, education, and hard work.
At BGCGW, youth can have fun, be heard, and particiapte in educational, recreational, and social activities which sure beats "being home alone." Out ultimate goal is ensuring happiness and success in lives of young people by helping them:
