Volunteer to help with the Color Me Rad 5K, Saturday, May 24, 2014, Security Service Field (Sky Sox Stadium) in Colorado Springs, CO.
Volunteers will be needed from 6 am to 11am and will be helping with registrations, posting at various legs of the 5k and "color blasting" the runners!
Multiple Sclerosis Alliance is asked to provide volunteers with a portion of the proceeds going to MSA to support clients with MS through support groups, exercise classes, seminars. To volunteer e-mail Margaret Hyer at support@msasoco.org or call 719-598-4885.

Description
The MSASC provides the following assistance to those living with MS and their families.
Healthy Self-Esteem: Support groups, funds to obtain individual counseling, social groups and opportunities.
s Healthy Lifestyle: Exercise and physical therapy classes, underwriting of medical expenses and education on the disease and its symptoms.
s Safe and Independent Living: Case management to obtain needed resources for self-sufficiency, donation of durable medical equipment, assistance with resources to retrofit homes, advocacy.
s Education and Knowledge: Telephone and one-on-one consultation about the disease and symptoms, lending library of information, seminars on the disease and illness.
gP The MSASC is a Southern Colorado organization not affiliated with any national organizations; all funds received stay within the community.
