What is Advocates for Planned Parenthood?

Advocates for Planned Parenthood (APP) are a group of volunteers dedicated to advocating for reproductive health and rights by partnering with Planned Parenthood Votes Northwest. They do this by taking action throughout the summer and during the elections and legislative session and by taking on leadership roles. APP members will hold monthly meetings and quarterly social events.

Who participates in APP?

Anyone can join APP, as long as you have a commitment to raising awareness about reproductive health and rights through education and community action. We want APPs to be everyday activists. We want you to be a passionate spokesperson for these causes and to integrate activism into your daily life. In addition to attending "official" Planned Parenthood events and activities, we encourage you to act as a "free agent," speaking out for reproductive rights with your friends and family, on your blog, in letters to the editor, and in any other manner you see fit.
