During the month of May, BAC will collect new and gently used elementary level books for our school and our community. Students who do not read over the summer break tend to lose valuable literacy skills. By making sure books are easily available, BAC can make a difference and reduce this summer slump. We have set a goal of 3500 books. We are requesting books be in new or gently used condition (no text books or public library books). Please contact us to arrange a pick up or bring your books to BAC during school hours.

Description
Barringer Academic Center is located near the intersection of West Blvd. and Clanton Rd. We are approximately 10 minutes from Uptown Charlotte. Access to Interstate 77 makes Barringer easily reachable within 2-3 minutes. We are ideally located near to Historic Dilworth and Wilmore.
BAC serves the students from surrounding West Charlotte community. It also has the Talent Development/Learning Immersion magnet program along with the CMS Horizons program.
