At School on Wheels, we’re always looking for talented, dedicated people who believe in the power of education and the potential of children. School on Wheels is an Equal Opportunity Employer encouraging diversity in the workplace.
This is a volunteer management position where the Regional Coordinator manages the Inland Empire region of School on Wheels (SOW) and all volunteer personnel within the region, including volunteer Tutor Coordinators (TCs) and tutors. The majority of time in this position is spent recruiting, managing and supporting volunteers. It also includes a focus on volunteer retention and appreciation. The Regional Coordinator will also conduct outreach to expand and encourage School on Wheels’ programs in shelters, motels, group foster homes and other homeless locations where these students reside. This position does not work directly with students on a daily basis but encourages access to our program and services via our organization and the volunteer tutors.
