Every year, on the first Saturday of June, Heartland Alliance sponsors the Home & Garden Tour.

WHAT: A tour of splendid, professionally designed and private homes and gardens in southwest Michigan. Spend a leisurely day in the country exploring exquisite homes and the spectacular work of the Midwest’s acclaimed interior designers, architects, and horticultural enthusiasts.

WHEN: Saturday, June 6, 2015

WHERE: Harbor Country, Michigan

WHO: Close to 1,000 Attendees and Sponsors

WHY: Heartland Alliance believes that all of us deserve the opportunity to improve our lives. Each year, we help ensure this opportunity for more than one million people around the world who are homeless, living in poverty, or seeking safety. Our policy efforts strengthen communities; our comprehensive services empower those we serve to rebuild and transform their lives. Funds raised through Heartland Alliance's Home & Garden Tour support our belief that everyone deserves to have a roof over their heads, access to health care, the opportunity to earn income to support themselves and their families, and to be treated fairly and with justice.

We are desperately seeking volunteers for the positions noted below. If you’re interested in serving as a volunteer on Saturday, June 6 th, please contact cjackson@heartlandalliance.org; before May 18, 2015.

Heartland Alliance for Human Needs & Human Rights helps people living in poverty or danger improve their lives and realize their human rights. From a refugee fleeing violence and torture to a resident of public housing trying to escape the cycle of poverty, Heartland Alliance helps people in the toughest of circumstances--who often have no place else to go. Our work in housing, health care, legal protections, and economic security helps thousands of individuals and families by offering quality services and long-term solutions to poverty. Heartland Alliance creates a better world where the dignity of every person is valued and protected.
