- SUMMER CAMP: Art, Sculpture
- 1 volunteer
- June 16- June 27, 8:30 AM- 12 PM
- This opportunity includes helping the teachers with setup and cleanup as well as sharing your artistic knowledge. The children will be creating sculptures out of wood pieces, paper, cardboard and found objects. As the children visit art club throughout the week, they may work on one major sculpture or create multiple pieces of art.
- SUMMER CAMP: Science and Nature
- 3 volunteers
- June 30- July 11, 8:30 AM- 12 PM
- This opportunity includes assisting with child supervision and preparing projects while enjoying the great outdoors. During this camp the children will use their five senses to explore trees, plants, water and animals in the St David’s Center School Forest - located right in our backyard!
- SUMMER CAMP: Music and Movement
- 2 volunteers
- July 21- August 1, 8:30 AM- 12 PM
- This opportunity includes exploring different types of music from classical to jazz and helping the children to create their own songs. The volunteer will also help the teacher to introduce instruments and teach dances.
- SUMMER CAMP: Drama
- 3 volunteers
- August 4- August 15, 8:30 AM- 12 PM
- This opportunity includes helping to teach the children how to act and put on a play! These volunteers will need to let their imaginations soar as they help to create the props and scenery for the performance of a classic fairy tale with a creative twist! At the end of the week, this group will put on a play for their families.
