Operation SnowSports is the largest program at YES where youth are inspired and challenged through skiing and snowboarding - many for the very first time!
Volunteers fulfill many different roles within the program, one of which is right for you!
- Youth Excel Through Tailored Instruction: YETTI Ski and Snowboard Coaches: Snow sport enthusiasts who sign up for five trips early in the fall and teach the same group of skiers or snowboarders all winter long!
- Ski and Snowboard Instructors: Snowsport enthusiasts interested in teaching urban youth how to ski or snowboard.
- Activity Captains: Adults (21 ) with a customer service mentality and strong group (45-55 people) leadership skills.
- Emergency Vehicle Drivers: Adult drivers (21 ) with spotless driving records.

Youth Enrichment Services (YES) inspires and challenges youth with physical and mental activities that foster life-long respect for self, others, and the environment.
Description
A large number of diverse Boston youth have access to an affordable and in-depth program that challenges them through outdoor sports and experiential education. They find a space to engage in a continuum of positive activities and quality experiences that foster character development and physical fitness. Youth build strong relationships with positive role models and take advantage of apprenticeship opportunities that build their technical and leadership skills. Youth Enrichment Services enjoys a recognizable presence in the community that attracts a large group of committed volunteers as well as community support and involvement.
