We are looking for groups and individual volunteers to help us in our 12 th Annual Fundraising Event- "Give a Hand" promotion occurring at various McDonald’s locations in Broward County. We are looking for volunteers for the lunch hours (11a-2pm) for May 1 through May 10 th. Crucial dates are May 1 st- May 4 th.
Our volunteers will act as ambassadors to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida. We are looking for energetic and outgoing groups and individual volunteers to promote at the restaurants to donate towards this Special Fundraising Event. Volunteers will speak to McDonald’s customers about the charity mission, and encourage customers to donate by purchasing a $1, $3 or $5 "Give a Hand" paper hand. These hands will be displayed at the restaurants throughout the month of May. All donations directly go to the Ronald McDonald House Charity.

Mission Statement
The Ronald McDonald House (RMH) is a temporary "home-away-from-home" for families to find rest, support, and time away from realities of the hospital procedures and routines in any Miami-Dade and Broward County pediatric medical facility.
Description
Your generous contribution will help to continue to provide a place to stay for the families of seriously ill children receiving treatment at Chris Evert Children's Hospital located on the grounds of Broward General Medical Center in Downtown Fort Lauderdale and other pediatric medical facilities. With your help and the help of the entire Broward Community, we will continue to provide services to 20 families at the same time and enable them to enjoy common areas such as: kitchen, dining room, play and TV room, family room, library with computers, laundry room.
